STANDING UP FOR WORKING FAMILIES

I’m running to take on the everyday costs that are making it harder to get by—housing, utilities , healthcare, and child care—and to make sure people who work hard can actually stay ahead.

Albany shouldn’t feel far away or out of touch. When the state invests money, it should show up here—in our neighborhoods, our schools, and our local economy.

PRACTICAL PLANS TO LOWER COSTS

No one should have to choose between paying the utility bill and buying groceries. I support the New York HEAT Act because it would cap energy costs and stop unnecessary expenses from being passed on to ratepayers. That’s the kind of policy that can make a real difference month to month.

PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES

I believe we need to move toward ending the role of ICE in our communities as we know it—because a system that separates families, targets people who are contributing and working, and creates fear instead of safety is broken at its core. The Dignity Not Detention Act is a key piece of this protection.

HEALTHCARE WITHOUT POLITICS

I will always stand up to protect reproductive freedom and make sure New York remains a place where people can make their own decisions about their care.

I’m also a strong supporter of the New York Health Act because I believe everyone deserves coverage without worrying about cost or access.

PLANNING FOR A CHANGING FUTURE

We’re already feeling the impacts of climate change here in upstate New York—more intense storms, higher energy costs, and growing strain on our infrastructure. At the same time, more people are being drawn to communities like ours in search of climate havens that will be receiving residents of other states migrating to more temperate communities.

I support major investments in clean, affordable energy so we can lower utility bills while reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
